I couldn't keep writing in Niger, knowing that I was going to get sent home. I also wasn't working much, and it was so much harder to write about my health, than that of my patients. It was a very personal and special time that I am forever grateful for, I just couldn't share it so publicly.
But, because my trip to Niger was cut short, I was given the opportunity to spend a few months in Honduras to finish up my fellowship!
